Don’t Get Soaked!
The above video clip is definitely hilarious. However, it has some business education if you take a second to think about it. The waterbed store was obviously pulling a prank on its customers. I would imagine that some of those customers were angry about getting soaked. However, at least they were only wet and not financially soaked with a bad purchase.
In my opinion, there is a lot of garbage available on the internet. Some web companies might look comfortable like the waterbed in the video. However, once they are given a try, you only get financially soaked as a result.
I pride myself on being an honest marketer. I will do my best for any project that I have undertaken. If you decide to look elsewhere for internet marketing purposes, then please be careful to not get financially soaked by a company that looks good only on the outside.

Wordcamp for Wordpress!

Recently, I made the trip to downtown Chicago for Wordcamp! Wordcamp is a weekend long seminar for those who are interested in Wordpress, which is the content management system that I use for my website designs. Why did I go?
The answer is very simple…I love Wordpress! I know how to configure my Wordpress sites to rank as high as possible in the search engines. When considering one of my optimization packages, no other type of website works as efficiently with it then a Wordpress blog. Not that other types of sites will not work, but Wordpress sites tend to work a little bit better and faster!
You might be asking yourself if a Wordpress site is right for your business? My opinion is YES!!! Wordpress sites can be configured so that they do not appear to be actual blogging websites. They can have pages that are static in nature for business content, and then they can incorporate categories for posting new and updated content on a routine basis. This is what Google loves! Connecting the Dots with Rockford College
Just in case you may not have read my marketing background posting, I am an alumnus of Rockford College here in Rockford, IL. I received my 4-year bachelor’s degree in Business Marketing from them in 2004 and am very proud to have graduated from there with Magna Cum Laude honors.
Recently, I was invited to their “Connecting the Dots” program that they were having for their current students. This program is quite interesting. The college invites alumni of the past that have interesting and unique careers and then they say a few words about their job. I jumped at this opportunity….as I jump to talk about internet marketing almost any day of the week! I would estimate that there were about 12 to 15 alumni that were at the event to speak, and I am proud to say that I was a part of it! Sharing my experience as a 100% independent full time internet marketer with students who are almost ready to graduate was quite an experience. When I graduated from Rockford College in 2004, I had no idea that internet marketing was in my future, but I sure am glad that I found it!
I Volunteer My Time!
I am posting this on my business site not to brag or anything, but I am simply hoping to urge other people to volunteer. I recently became a member of the Cosmopolitan Club in Rockford, IL. The Cosmopolitan Club is a collection of businessmen who feel the need to volunteer in their community. We have weekly lunches as well as host many speakers from not-for-profit organizations. Not only is this great for business networking, but the donations and time that is invested by these businessmen is going towards a good cause! I highly recommend that you research and join your local Cosmopolitan Club if you are a businessman!
John Can Write Internet Marketing Ebooks?
That is correct! Recently, I have entered the world of copyrighting as a ghostwriter for some larger internet marketers whose names you may have heard. Unfortunately, I cannot divulge which marketers at this point, but I have already seen a few of these books released that discuss various topics in internet marketing such as “pay per click” and “co-registraton list building.”
I am currently working on an ebook that discusses various internet marketing tactics that can be utilized when you do not want to include a website with your marketing. There is another one on the dockett about other ways to generate cash online so stay tuned!

My name is John LiCausi and I have internet marketing in my blood! Sorry to be so vulgar, but it is true! I went to Belvidere High School in Belvidere, IL and played 4 years of high school football. I was one of those kids that pretty much knew I was going to be majoring in business when it would come time to go to college.
When I graduated high school, I looked at several colleges in the Northern Illinois, Southern WI area. I wanted to play football too! I chose Rockford College in Rockford, IL for multiple reasons. One is their highly respected business department. It was second to none! The classes were small and I learned a ton from professors, not teaching assistants. In 2004, I graduated with a Bachelor’s Degree in Business Administration with an emphasis in Marketing.
Shortly after graduation, I took a sales job and was promoted to a managerial level about 6 months later. I was very successful with this job, however, I just was not totally satisfied. One day when I had some free time, I decided to experiment with Ebay and made quite a bit of money as an independent distributor. This was my introduction into the field of internet marketing because I then decided to research internet marketing for 2 straight years! I read countless books and ebooks, worked with the pros as an apprentice, and experimented quite a bit until I was ready for the next step.
I read about how valuable attending seminars in the internet marketing industry could be so I decided to invest some time and money and traveled to a couple seminars. One was in Madison, WI, which was fairly close for me, and the other seminar was in Las Vegas. I went to the Madison seminar with the intention of learning more about Adsense, and was quickly excited with the concepts of website promotion that were being presented to me. These were tactics that were giving amazing results for many different industries, but were so new that the typical web design companies had no idea that these strategies existed! I spent the next year or so researching the newest and most cutting edge internet marketing information that I could find. When it came time for the Las Vegas Seminar, I was ready to reach new levels. I flew to Las Vegas and rekindled friendships with marketers that I had met in Madison, as well as made new friends in high places. Since then, I have been working with some of the best in the industry like Greg and Stephanie Mulac.
