My name is John LiCausi and I have internet marketing in my blood! Sorry to be so vulgar, but it is true! I went to Belvidere High School in Belvidere, IL and played 4 years of high school football. I was one of those kids that pretty much knew I was going to be majoring in business when it would come time to go to college.
When I graduated high school, I looked at several colleges in the Northern Illinois, Southern WI area. I wanted to play football too! I chose Rockford College in Rockford, IL for multiple reasons. One is their highly respected business department. It was second to none! The classes were small and I learned a ton from professors, not teaching assistants. In 2004, I graduated with a Bachelor’s Degree in Business Administration with an emphasis in Marketing.
Shortly after graduation, I took a sales job and was promoted to a managerial level about 6 months later. I was very successful with this job, however, I just was not totally satisfied. One day when I had some free time, I decided to experiment with Ebay and made quite a bit of money as an independent distributor. This was my introduction into the field of internet marketing because I then decided to research internet marketing for 2 straight years! I read countless books and ebooks, worked with the pros as an apprentice and project manager, and experimented quite a bit until I was ready for the next step.
I read about how valuable attending seminars in the internet marketing industry could be so I decided to invest some time and money and traveled to a couple seminars. One was in Madison, WI, which was fairly close for me, and the other seminar was in Las Vegas. I went to the Madison seminar with the intention of learning more about Adsense, and was quickly excited with the concepts of website promotion that were being presented to me. These were tactics that were giving amazing results for many different industries, but were so new that the typical web design companies had no idea that these strategies existed! I spent the next year or so researching the newest and most cutting edge internet marketing information that I could find. When it came time for the Las Vegas Seminar, I was ready to reach new levels. I flew to Las Vegas and rekindled friendships with marketers that I had met in Madison, as well as made new friends in high places. Since then, I have been working with some of the best in the industry.
